New position as Chief Procurement Officer for the group’s global operations.

Chief Procurement Officer, DOF ASA

 

To strengthen our focus on Procurement and Supply Chain, DOF ASA has established a new position as Chief Procurement Officer for the group’s global operations. The new position will be employed at corporate level and report to the CEO.

Responsibility:

• Procurement policies at group and regional level
• Superior responsibility for improvement processes regarding procurement functions and associated routines.
• Develop, implement, maintain and manage procurement services for the group.
• Ensure that all activities related to procurement are carried out in accordance with laws/regulations, groupprocedures and contractual requirements.
• Negotiate and maintain global supplier agreements and establish routines for regional supplier agreement processes.
• Follow up global tenders and RFP’s.
• Initiate contact and develop relation to existing and new suppliers and partners
• Ensure that carriage of Goods is adjusted to the company’s trade. 
• Participate and manage relevant projects in the group.
• Other tasks related to management of procurement and supply chain within the company.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Higher education (minimum Bachelor degree). Solid and relevant leadership experience related to Procurement and Supply chain. Experience from international companies would be an advantage.
• Competence in use and development of efficient ERP systems
• A strategic leader with strong negotiating skills.
• Be able to build relations both internally and externally.
• Fluent in the English language, both written and verbally. Acquaintance with the Norwegian language is an advantage, but not a premise
• Solution-oriented, determined and co-operative
