Description
Act as HSE Engineer in the portfolio, reporting to HSE Manager /HSE Portfolio Manager
Initiate and if necessary facilitate HSE activities related to the project(s) in accordance with HSE Management System, Business Processes, HSE strategies and Project requirements.
Contribute to Continual improvements of HSE Management System and operating procedures.
Ensure relevant HSE requirements are identified and communicated. Always keep updated on latest applicable standards, rules and regulations.

Advice and assist HSE Managers/ HSE Portfolio Manager in HSE related issues.
Execute HSE Leadership in the project.
Participate in Contract Review focusing on HSE requirements for systems, products and documentation.
Ensure that HSE requirements are identified and communicated to the project organisation and supply chain.
Initiate the need for additional project specifications to address contract requirements in Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
Report on HSE activities to HSE Manger and relevant involved parties.
Perform HSE activities towards Suppliers.
Participate in project meetings as required.
Encourage the use of and follow up HSE Incident Notifications.
Follow up HSE-related accidents and incidents in the project and perform needed assessment of trends based on statistics. Perform HSE briefing and HSE induction with visitors, new employees and contractors if needed.
Participate in audits and verifications, follow up and close actions to eliminate root causes.
Report monthly project HSE status/metrics.
Participate in HSE Network meetings.

Qualifications
HSE experience from line organisation or project execution.
Higher technical/economical education on university level.
Experience with risk assessment and root cause analysis.
Experience with system audits and project reviews.
Knowledge in relevant laws and regulations and industry standards like ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, NORSOK standards. Understanding of the overall project processes and work procedures.
Good skills in English language, oral and written.
High HSE conscious and ability to work under period of high workload.

Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 3 months with large opportunities for further extension.
