For one of our clients, an oil company in Forus outside Stavanger, we are seeking:
Work Description
The Project Manager will primarily be focusing on the implementation of Energy Components, but will be working closely with the SPA and other stakeholders to ensure a well managed, timely and coordinated implementation of systems, training and processes.
More specifically, the Project Manager will:
Cooperate with the SPA in defining a Scope of Work and a User Requirements Specification.
Develop detailed plans and budgets.
Deliver agreed scope according to plans and budgets.
Provide a holistic view on the implementation ensuring all interfaces between EC and interacting systems/reports are identified and responsibilities defined and agreed to implement an end-to-end solution.
Develop plans for and ensure execution of end-to-end testing.
Hand over to IT Operations in accordance with the client's procedures. Ensure appropriate support is available.
Manage resources and/or external vendors.
Liaise closely with stakeholders both in Norway and the North Sea SPU to ensure compliance with the HVR initiative and global standards.
Liaise closely with the relevant parts of the client's local and global IT organisation to ensure an appropriate technical solution.
Reporting and other communications as agreed.
Qualifications
To fulfil the role it is essential that the candidate can communicate and cooperate with various stakeholders and disciplines within the company, including HVR, operations, reservoir, IT etc. Hence the right candidate should preferably be able to document the following:
Successful track record of managing projects through the entire project lifecycle, with a minimum of five years experience in managing complex People-Systems-Organisation (PSO) projects where the implementation of Information Systems constitutes a major component.
A good knowledge of the E&P Upstream business in general, and Production Reporting and Energy Components in particular.
Excellent Project Management skills, preferably documented via education or relevant PM accreditation (e.g. PMP, APM, PRINCE 2 Practitioner).
Core competence in Planning, Cost Estimating, Risk Management, Performance Management, Quality & Delivery Assurance.
Experience in Business & Process Change Management.
Experience of managing third party software delivery projects.
Strong business awareness.
The candidate must be:

Good communicator across different disciplines and cultures.
Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
